Dance of Geometry (2025)

“Colours, cracks and curves: you’ve seen these in your city before. What appeals to me about these images is that they are specific to Arles, yet would look at home anywhere else. Rich colours and regular shapes not only define what a city looks like, but together create moments of beauty that few might notice except those who look closely.”

The images in this series were made in mid-September 2025 in Arles, France, during a workshop led by Marguerite Bornhauser at the Rencontres d’Arles photography festival. The series was presented in an exhibition, together with works by other participants.
